Elizabeth (Lizzie) Unterbrink

Prior to attending law school, Lizzie intended on pursuing medical school. While performing clinical research at two different hospitals, she saw the amount of sacrifice and dedication that went into patient care. She recognized that health law offered a unique opportunity where she could further her interest in medicine while simultaneously advocating for health care professionals. 

Lizzie’s practice centers around the defense of physicians, hospital systems, and medical professionals in medical negligence cases throughout Washington State. She also defends health care professionals in licensing investigations and disciplinary matters before the Washington Medical Commission and Department of Health. Prior to joining Johnson Graffe Keay Moniz & Wick in 2024, Lizzie worked at another local medical malpractice defense firm. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis and piano as well as traveling.
