Michael McDermott has been with the firm since 2011 and has significant trial experience. His practice focuses on representing health care providers and organizations in medical and dental malpractice actions. He also represents medical and dental providers in Department of Health regulatory matters. He is actively licensed in Washington and Alaska.
Michael evaluates each matter closely by analyzing all the facts and opinions rendered when crafting arguments in support of his clients. He always informs his clients on the strengths and weaknesses of each case, so they have the necessary information to make informed decisions. Michael works closely with his clients, keeping them informed of developments and strategic adjustments that are needed from the date of assignment through entry of final judgment. He has been a member of the Washington HealthCare Risk Management Society for over a decade and served on its Board of Directors for six years, including as its President. In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, traveling, watching and participating in sports, and cooking.
