Michelle Taft is a civil litigator who joined Johnson, Graffe, Keay, Moniz & Wick, LLP in January 2014. Michelle holds a BA in Economics and a minor in German from the University of Southern California, where she competed on the USC Women’s Varsity Rowing Team. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Washington School of Law. Michelle’s legal practice focuses on medical malpractice defense, healthcare provider licensing defense, defending federally funded public housing authorities, and general civil liability defense. Michelle believes that integrity, strong work ethic, and teamwork are key to success in life and litigation and is extremely honored and thankful to represent individuals who have dedicated their lives to serving others.

Outside of her legal practice, Michelle volunteers for several non-profits, including serving on the board of trustees for a national nonprofit that provides programming and education to increase the participation of women and girls in outdoor sports. Michelle is also an avid skier and a volunteer with the Crystal Mountain Ski Patrol. When not working or volunteering, Michelle can usually be found in the mountains or on the water, skiing, hiking, and paddle boarding with her family and two rescue dogs.
