Rando Wick is a Senior Partner who has been defending health care providers in lawsuits involving allegations of malpractice since 1990. He is an experienced trial lawyer, having tried dozens of cases to verdict before juries. He also assists physicians and other health care providers in investigations and actions by State Disciplinary Boards.

He works for numerous hospitals, medical clinics, and individual providers, along with being assigned by numerous insurers to defend such cases. He actively practices, and has tried cases, in both the States of Washington and Alaska.

Prior to law school at the University of Washington, he was a firefighter/medic and served in the United States Air Force. In addition, he worked for Providence Hospital in Everett, Washington, for five years in the early to mid-1980s.

Rando has been honored to be voted into several organizations that are carefully vetted, including becoming a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL), a Fellow in the International Society of Barristers (ISOB), a Fellow of The Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) and was chosen as the trial lawyer of the year for Washington State by the American Board of Trial Advocates.

He has the highest rating (AV) by Martindale Hubbell. He is published in both medical and legal journals and is a frequent lecturer to hospitals, physicians, and other health care groups.

One of Rando’s favorite parts of his job is bringing along younger lawyers at his firm and getting them trial practice under his supervision, either in an active second chair role or with client approval, allowing them to first chair while he assists them at trial. He finds this greatly rewarding.

On a personal note, Rando is married to Jeerapat (Jee), a native of Thailand. Together, they enjoy world travel. The father of four children and grandpa to four grandchildren, he enjoys staying active, including daily gym time and walks along the water in West Seattle.
